Stereograms
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A stereogram is a type of optical illusion that creates a three-dimensional image from a two-dimensional pattern. These images appear flat at first glance, but when viewed with the right technique, such as focusing or diverging one's eyes **in front or behind the surface**, a hidden three-dimensional image within the pattern emerges. 

I designed **my own algorithm** in 1994 for this kind of art and made some digital images. Some were printed out. 

Two hearts (1997)

Made for a couple. There are two gender symbols, male and female, shaped as two hearts and interwined with each other. 


  
Sculpture
--------------
Using math and computer graphics, I was able to create a kind of relief sculpture in 2006, to integrate two images into one sculpture. the images were drawn by the projection or shadow of the relief. 


Trinity 
^^^^^^^^^^^
Now I am upgrading this to integrate three images. My next work will use 3D printing to create a round acrylic disc with the thickness of 10mm. A matrix of tiny cubes are embedded. If view from 3 different angles, you can see the symbols of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
